HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

SHOW OPENS TO-MORROW. In spite of all storms the entries received for the annual Spring Show clearly indicate that the enthusiasm of the Show supporters cannot he damped by Stratford’s storms. In cut flowers and Narcissi, the entries are well up to last year, while those in the decorative section show a marked increase. This section has always bee n a strong one here, and this time there is again strong competition. During the afternoon, after the official opening by the Mayor, there will he music supplied by Miss Rogers (violin), Miss McElroy (piano) and Mr Thriepland (cello), while Miss Massey and Mrs Price have very kindly offered vocal items. Afternoon tea will be obtainable at the hall, and all that remains to make the Show a success is the attendance of the public.
