THE FAMILY HONOUR
MINISTER HOBSEWHTPPED. (BERLIN, Sept. 24. Dr. Bruckner, Minister of Justice, who was horsewhipped by his nephew en Tuesday in the main street of Schwerin, in. the presence of a largo crowd, was foundi drowned in Schwerin Lake. Dr. Bruckner's brother recently married (a widow with a daughter aged 19 and a son aged 18. Dr. Bruckner invited the girl to accompany him on a trip to Switzerland. The mother, not suspecting, agreed. During the trip *'- ■• Minister ana the girl fell in love. On her return the brother horsewhipped Dr. Bruckner to vindicate the family honour. Dr. Bruckner left Schwerin and his body has now been found in the lake.
