Duncan lias resigned the managership of the Melbourne Clothing Co'si Stratford branch, and haß accepted the position of Taranakt agent of the Real Silk Hosiery* Mills, Mr George Paul, junior, of Auckland, has been appointed handicapper to the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting] Club. Mr Paul ha s acted for some years as hand'icapper to the Auckland and Otahuhu clubs. Mr R. H. Boyd, at one time a resident of Hawera, where he entered the Post Office »s a messenger, arid who of recent years has been promoted at Hamilton, lias been promoted to chief postmaster at Wellington.
