The British Government has inquired through the Norwegian mission the possibility of sending a warship to transfer the L 55 bodies to England. The Norwegian Government was informed' thjat the Soviet did not object to the arrival of a warship belonging to a friendly nation or a British merchantman, but could not consent to a British warship entering Soviet territorial waters. —Australian Press Association.
