Wairrarapa beat Wellington at Carterton to-day jn a Ranfurly Shield match by nine to three.

Returning after a short spell, Ramson, for illegal tactics in the scrum, had a phot at goal. from ten yards inside half way, but the ball plissed just outside the posts. Within a few minutes Q.
