Miss K. Grant left this morning on a holiday visit to Wellington

The, death occurred on Saturday, states a Christchurch message, of Mr. Harry Brinkman, a well known trotting handicapper, at the age of 68 years. He had beenj associated with trotting since its earliest days. Ho had been in ill-health for a long time and had suffered a recurrence of his complaint, but his sudden dealiih. was quite’ unexpected. He had actually completed his task of framing the handicaps for one trot ou the Otago Hunt Club’s programme when he collapsed and died.
