The government Meteorologist (Dr, Kidson) telegraphed the following, forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day:—
The indications are for westerly winds moderate to strong, freshening and strong to gale at times. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled and showery. Barometer falling slowly.
