Mr W- J. Spence, County Engineer is at .present confined to his home as a result of an injury to one of fys knees'through slipping on concrete. It may be some weeks before he will be about again; • through Stratford by train in large .numbers, and local people are already beginning to speculate on the probable pri.ee of heifers next season. Mr A. E. Moss, Borough Electrical Engineer, reports that the consumption 6i electric current during July was 30 per cent, more than for the corresponding month last year.
