Pathetic circumstances were eiated with the death of "Michael "White, a 78-year-old inmate of the Macquarie Street Old Man's Home at, Parramatta, who was found! dead on a vacant allotment in Park Street, ''Parramatta, on. I] It was revealed today, at the 1 .quest held'.by the Parramatta District Coroner (Mr H; Richardson Clark) that White -had lost trace of his ; sister* 40 years ago- She was his only relative, and he had searched for her for over 20 'years in every part of the Commonwealth. He had found 1 her address <about ,sk weeks ago, and when he wont there he discovered that she had died a few weeks previously. The old man then entered the institution, evidently heartbroken. He left it on July 25, and was found dead five days later, Dr.; E. C. Hale said tnaTtteaflT waS due to heart failure, probably caused 1 -by exposure and. alcoholism.
