GRADUAL IMPROVEMENT. Thu Government Meteorologist (Dr, E. Kidson.) telegiaphed the following forecast for the 24 hours from -9 a.m. to-day:—' The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong to gale at time s and decreasing. The weather will probably he dull and overcast. ( The weather will probably prove cold and showery, but improving gradually. Barometer rising.
