HEAVY RAIN. The rain which fell throughout most of yesterday continued last night when at times it came down in torrents. For the 24 hours ended this morning a total of 2.22 inches was registered. FEWER DIRECTORS. At yesterday's meeting of the Te Popo Dairy Co. Mr. Cole suggested that, in view of the small number of shareholders in the company, the number of directors should be reduced to three.
