NAVAL ESTIMATES

EFFECT OH KELLOGG TACT. QUESTIONS IN COMMONS. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. LONDON, July 25. In the House of Commons, Sir R. J. Thomas inquired what reductions wore proposed in the Navy Estimates as a result of Kellogg’s Pact. Rt. Hon. W. C. Bricigeman said the Admiralty had begun to consider the next Estimates, but it would be most unusual to announce in advance what the Admiralty was likely to do. The Pact did not affect the national right to provide for self defence, and it was on that basis that Cabinet was dually guided in fixing the Navy Estimates. —Australian Press Assn.—United Service.
