The quarterly meeting of the Methodist circuit was held in the church vestry on Tuesday, July 3rd, Rev. H. L. Blamires being in the chair. Representatives from Midhirst, C3ardiff and Tuna were present. The chairman shortly reviewed the work of the past quarter in optimistic veinThe balance-sheet showed that.finances are in a healthy state. A finance committee was set up to work in conjuction with the circuit stewards, Mr. George Smith, of Midhirst, congratulated the Cardiff people on the present excellent state of the church property. The church has heen repaired and painted and the. furniture renovated and polished, the money being raised in the Cardiff district which shows the great interest taken in church matters there. Reports from various departments were made, all showing signs of healthy activity.
