A two-seater car belonging to Mr Bert Jackson was commandeered by joyriders late last night. The car was left in; the street while the owner transacted some business prior to leaving town. When he returned the car had disappeared. The police have the matter in hand. This is ’.the first case to occur in Carterton for a very long time.
