Won by a length and aqnarter, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 3min. Scot Free was, fourth. Fane, Kaihoremai Koxhouncf and Louis Poto fell. ASHBURTON RACES. ASHBURTON, .Tune 30. The Ashburton Racing Club’s winter meeting was held in good weather and before a large attendance. 1 lie course was a little slow. The totalisator handled £8924, as against £9092 last year. A. C. Pratt, rider of Wataipuke, which fell in the steeplechase was admitted to hospital suffering from concussion. Results are: —
