MAIL ROBBERY
BAGS CUT OPEN,
THEFT AT RAILWAY STATION,

On Saturday evening,, mail bags containing the outward mail from Raurimu and Kaitieke were placed in a box in the railway station to be lifted when the express went through at three o’clock on Monday morning. It was discovered on Sunday that the'mail box had been rifled, the bags being cut open, and all the contents stolen.
