Faultier a, dentist of Newton, was fined £SO at the Onehunga Police Court for . beingdrunk in charge of a car on February 2t), and for dangerous driving and causing Revere injuries to a passenger. Accused subsequently disappeared. The Magistrate, Mr Levien, described it as a deplorable case, but said apparently it was not the custom in Auckland to inflict imprisonment.
