MR McKEEN AND THE WELFARE LEAGUE.

TO THK EDITOR Sir, —In your issue of the 25th instappears a reply from that mystical body called the Welfare League, to a statement made by me in a speech recently delivered in Stratford, to the effect that I stated:— “The Welfare League say s the Labour Party’s Land Policy will steal the Farmers* land.” What this scribe of the Welfare League has reiterated time and time again is “that the Labour Party’s Land Policy is one of Confiscation,” which means the same thing. No doubt they will attempt to deny this as they dearly love to pose as the much injured party. 1 am, etc. ROBT McKEEN. Parliament Buildings, Wellington, June 29.
