FUNCTION AT HUINGA

The Huinga Hall was packed Ihst night when § function was hold to bid farewell ; to Mrs Bradford and family and Mr W. J. Rose and family. A committee consisting oi Messrs Harry Cook (chairman), F. Clark and L. Leyclon had anivngements well in hand, and the gathering was successful in every way. 'Mr E. Marfell presented three pairs of blankets to Mrs Bradfoi d and a 28-day chiming clock to Mr Rose. He referred to Mrs Bradford’s sterling qualities and wished her every success in her new home. Mr Rose, he said, was well known in the district for the splendid manner m which he had improved his farm since coming to the district.
