The annual re-union, of Territorials to farewell those going to the reserve and to welcome new . postings, was held last night, Lieut. H. 0. Johnson presiding. There was a good attendance, visitors being present from Kapoucji and Kithira.

The chairman proposed the toast of Licnt. Wicksteed, ’who suitably responded. Ino toast D. Coy was proposed by (Lieut. A. W- L. Lawn, 8.. Coy., HawCra. and was responded to by Lieut. A. E. Giiliver. . The toast of “The Ladies’ 5 was proposed by* Ilicui. F. R. Tiiwu, Richardson responding. ‘Reservists and New Postings” Vas proposed by Lieut. Gilliver, Ser- . gednt Wickham * responding. The toast of Warrant Officer Rowe was proposed by Lieut. Johnson, a suitable response being made. In the course of hi s’remarks, Lieut A. W. L. Lawn said D Coy was the champion company of Taranaki they were holders of the Captain Cook ■Memorial Cup, and the Guard Cup, winners of the, inter-company crosscountry competition, the inter-pla-t66n cross-country competition, and ruhnersrup in the. football competition. Warrant-Officer Rowe mentioned that the local Hotchkiss gun section of the R A.M.R. were the champions in their line, and that the Toko signallers hud the Hawera machinegunners, held the efficiency cup ioi the Mounted Rifles. _Ho also repeated the statement made by His Excellency the Governor-General, when A Coy turned out at the S.T-H.S as a guard of honour, that they were the steadiest guard of honour he had seen in his Lie.
