ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

Officers were elected as under: President: *Mr J. Master*. ■ Vice-presidents: Messrs H, C. North, R. H. White. ■ • *• - Secretary; Mf'H- LI. Betts. Hon. Treasurer; 1 Mr A. Dickinson. Committee: Messrs' J. *M. McAlister, A. R, MasterSj G. Wood's, T..M. Ball; « - Green warders: Messrs H. LI. Betts, J. Masters. Delegates to Centre Meetings: Messrs G. Wood, <T. C. Robins. Hon. Auditor: Mr J. O. Robins. SELECTORS. Mr G. Woods moved that two selectors be appointed ancl that Messrs H. C. North and A. Dickinson be appointed. Mr Cropton seconded. This was carried. Mr North returned thanks and assured the meeting he wouicTTlo his best fn the interests of the Club.

Mr Dickinson said that every man would be given a game in friendly matches and the best men would be picked out for banner matches.

Mr Masters; No selector can satisfy everybody, so don’t feel disappointed if you hear grumbling.

A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr J. MacDonald the sole selector cf last year. GENERAL BUSINESS. Mr North expi-essed the (opinion that the subscription to the Droqnet Club should hp raised to .Tk a year. Many of the Indies of the club were emphatic in that view the speaker said. ‘ y"

THE COLOURS. Notice of motion was given that the club’s colours be changed, and tu© matter be discussed at the next general meeting. A Sub Committee consisting of Messrs Or opton, "White, Dickinson, and Hoskin was appointed to go into the matter and bring down recomto put before the meeting. .1 •t COMPETITIONS. Mr. J. H. Fletcher suggested that Club competitions should be started early, and a time limit be enforced.

Mr. Pickles aisked that if possible one or two Thursday afternoons slioud be devoted to club games. Mr Dickinson; “Playing' in sections will get the pairs competitions over in plentjTof time”. It was decided that pairs be played in sections. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr, T. Harry Penn for the use of his office for committee meetings.-
