On Wednesday evening a farewell social organised by the Misses Anderson and Kemp was tendered to Mr. and Mrs. C. Relf .at i the residence of Mr. and Mrs.. George Anderson, Palmer Road, by Kaponga district Methodist and Mkhpe , residents. Davidson spoke of the good work carried out by M i. Relf as superintendent of tihe Mahde Sunday school for .the past pight years and as circuit steward in’ the same district. On behalf of the settlers Mr Cossum presented a chimney clock to Mr. and, Mrs. Rfelf as an appreciation of the good'they had done for the district. In doing so Mr. Cossum said they were all very sorry to lose. Mr. and Mrs % Rolf, hut Mahoe’s loss was Tututawa’s gain. Musical honours were accorded Mr. and Mrs. Relf., A dainty supper was served by Mrs. Anderson.
