The takings for the five days of the National Dairy Show at Palmerston North last week amounted to £2,500. This establishes a new record, and indicates the growing popularity 7 of ManUwatu’is big winter attraction. In this week’s issue of the “New Zealand Free Lance,” the show is one of the outstanding features in the pictorial: section. A wide range of photographs includes views of whaling operations in the Antartie, the Governor-Uoncral in TaiUnaki and Hawke’s -Bay 7 , fulllength pictures of individual members of the All Blacks team and numerous other topics.
