Mr W. Montgomerie and Mr AColson, of Te Aroha, are at present on 4 visit to Stratford.
The death is reported in a Sydney cable of {Mr John McCaughey the only remaining brother of famous nasto ralists.
The death occurred at Hawera yesterday of Mr s Edith Gernhoefer, V>ifo of Mr Louis 0. A. Gernhoefer, and sister-in-law of Mr M. Gernhoefer, of Toko.
