, Mr. George Collins, referee in the' fourth grade match S.T.H.S. v. Inglewood, played at Stratford on June 7th, reported having ordered a player off for kicking an opponent. Mr. A. H. R. Mr. Amess mentioned the present was the first occasion in fifteen years on which a member of the school teams had been ordered off. Mr. Neilson said he had spoken to Mr. R. 11. Tyrer on the matter.! Air Tyrer was unable to attend that evening as he had another meeting, but he suggested that the matter might be referred to the Principal of the school for action. Air Goodwin thought the matter should be dealt with by the Union. Mr W fl. Moyes said i ; wouldn t be fair to the boys in other teams in the competition it the suggested course was followed. Mr Masters thought the Union was quite capable of exercising discipline -they did not need to give the job to anybody else. Mr Moves though it would be unwise to follow the course suggested. It would be undesirable if boys in school team* got the idea that t«ei! offences would ho referred to then' teachers and. that they would escape the punishments usually allotted by the Union.
