JUDGING THE PLOTS. Mr A. J. Glasson, of the Department of Agriculture, and Mr It. Syme, of the Department §f Eduear tion, yesterday continued the judging of entries in "vh"e root-growing competition Under the auspices of the Boys' and Girls' Agricultural Clubs. Yesterday's wqrk consisted only of one entry at Douglas and two at Hudroa. The weights were; not so good as those obfUinad at Toko, but it was apparent that the children, had taken considerable pains with their work. The plots of the Wood boys at Huiroa were excellently worked and weeded. No attempt will be made to place the contestants in order of merit until the judging has I'cen entirely completed.
