COMBINED CHOIRS
ORGANISATION FORMED.
Over forty persons were present at a meeting held this week of riieimbers 'of the combined choirs who performed Mozart’s TvVelFth Mass during Juliileo Week. Mr H. LI. Betts was in the chair. It Avak/ docidedl to render the Twelfth Mass on June sth, in accordance with the suggestion of the'School Committee. This performance ; s being given in aid of the fund of provide a heating system at the school. Tilth: chairniun addressed the meeting on the proposal to continue operations, and on the motion of Mr W. Moslem, seconded by Mr C, J. McDowall, it was decided to constitute a choir for Stratford and district to be known a.-. “The Stratford Combined Choir.” The, committee is to consist of a president and Secretary, and two members to be elected by each choir, the conductor and .accompamit to bo members ex officio. Mr W. Hoskin was elected president, Miss Black secretary, Mr_ J.
