BUENOS A J RES. May 23. A powerful bomb exploded with terrific forc t . at the Italian Consulate (and killed ten people, all Italian immigrants of whom three died instantly and seven in hospital. Four members of the Consulate and sixteen immigrants wore injured. A second bomb, also of tremendous power, exploded shortly after in a chemist's .shop m a crowded working class quhrter of the city, but nobody was injured. This was dne to a defect in the bomb which prevented the full force being exerted. Squads of detectives rushed to the Consulate where they were utterly mystified as to the identity of the perpretrator or the motive.
