MARVELLOUS NEW FORD. The New Ford, which has held the interest of the motoring world for months past, will he demonstrated at Messrs: Kleeman and Bishop's garage at 8 o'clock "to-morrow evening, a specimen machine having arrived from Wellington. The public will then be given an opportunity to examine the many new features which place the New Ford in a class by itself. The frame of the Now Ford is a straight line design, allowing the driving force to follow a straight line rather than through curved ends of side members as in the 1 case where a transverse type of spring is not used. Tliisi gives aj remarkable irigidjity and strejngth which, in conjunction with the wonderful electncarc welded steel now being used for the Ford, provides a sound and enduring firame. Thei various cross members are much heavier than in the past, models again adding to the stregthl of car, and are so placed *<s to allow the spring to bo compressed inside the cross member when the car bits a hole or i.s heavily loaded- Thousands of Model T. cars used over a per foil of years have proved that T>his straight line design frame is the logical and most serviceable for a light car. Needless to say, the New Ford frame has Sufficient strength to take care of more than an extreme overload and tijlL conceivable twists.
