SUCCESSFUL SPORTS

THE TOKO GATHERING. UNFAVOH*ABLE WEATHER. The weather was not favorable for th© annual sports held al Tukoi yesterday, showers of rain interfering with the enjoyment of the clay. The track was on the heavy side, and times were slow, and as some competitors did not attend owing to doubt a s to whether the sports would he held heats were not necessary i' l some events. Walter M.P., presented the trophies won during the day. He specially complimented the sports committee on the organisation of the day's gathering, which had been particularly successful in spite of the adverse weather. ■ Results are': —
