PRISONERS SENTENCED

Robert Patrick iCrawfoi'd, 20, f° r theft as a servant, was sentenced to two years’ Borstal detention;'Ronald Edwin Morrison. ;aged 17, labourer, for breaking, entering and theft and attempted theft; was sentenced to four years’ Borstfil detention; Michael Patrick Anthony Herlihy, aged 22, for breaking, entering and tlieft, was admitted to probation for two years; Donald Gillies, aged 31, and John George Furey, aged 19, for conspiring to defraud, were sentenced, the former to’ two years in gaol, the latter to two years in a Borstal institute; William Alma Robertson, aged 34, labourer, for forgery and uttering, was sentenced to twelve months in gaol; Sydney Lambert Roach, for bigamy, was sentenced to twelve months; Trevor Leonard Richard Cunningham, aged 28, a taxi-driver, for theft, was given a year in gaol.
