PERFORMANCE AT ELTHAM. There was a good attendance at the Eltham Town Hall last night when the Stratford Combined Choirs rendered' Mozart’s Twelfth Mass, those present including a number Of Stratford people who had not seen the Stratford performance and a good number from Hawera. A dainty supper AA r as provided for the performers by the Eltham ladies and Avas very much appreciated. During supper, Dr. Saunders, in the 'aOL”V.e of a foAV remarks, said the Flthmn people had very much appreciated the musical treat provided. Ti’e Avork had been very Avell rendeied the singing being very evenly balanced He stressed the fact that SHtoford should keep up the organisation, nid expressed the hope that at some future date Eltham people night have the pleasure of hearing the choir s in another work of the same sort.
