NO HOPE
CREW OF WRECKED STEAMER. ONE BODY RECOVERED. United Press Assn.—By Electric I j v Telegraph Copyright. (Received 8.55 a.m.) HALIFAX, May 2. A message from Sydney (Nova 'Scotia) states the wreckage of the steamer Calliesto, which was hidden by a dense fog since crashing ashore on Saturday, was located this morning o n the jagged rocksat Port Nova Island. The body of one man was washed ashore, and no hope is held out for the crew of thirty-two.
