Mr J. Amesbury left this morning on a short visit to Feilding. Mr W. Blair is about again after being laid aside for some time by illness. : v, Canon J. L. A. Kayli, who has been attending the Anglican General Synod in Wellington, returned by the mail train last night. The death has occurred of Mr J. B. Harcourt, president of the Wellington Racing Club, says a Association message. Mr P. Beere, a.t one tiraei Stock Inspector at Stratford aind now resident in Australia, is at present on a visit to bis brother. Mr E. D. Betere, of CToton Road. Mr. J.
