With the exception of the extreme western, areas, heavy rain has fallen during the past few days ov©r the wlioto state. In the north-west and soutfi-west districts flood warnings have been issued and already parts of Biirraba are under water and several businqiss places have suffered severely- Heavy rains at Junee practically destroyed huge swarms of grasshoppers which threatened the town.
