At the SiVidium last night Tiger Payne (America) knocked out Bruno Fnittini (Italy) in the third round with a heavy uppercut to the jaw. The Italian was ahead on points when Piyne administered the finishing punch. At the Melbourne Stadium Bob Miller beat Teddy Mnrton (Britain) on points in a, last, clever 15-round contest. NAVY v. In a. boxing match between the Royal Navy and Cambridge University, each had scored 12 points at the annual boxing tournament at Portsmouth when Sub-Lieutenant Eulison Campbell, of the Royal Australian Navy met Sounders Jacobs, of Trinity College, in the light-hcj.wyweight class, ami knocked him out within, a couple of seconds, thus scoring the points which gave the Royal Navy the victory. Australia's other representative was Sub-Lieutenant P. J. Hodge, who was beaten in the second round or the welterweight division by Cotton, of King's College. LOMSKI HEATS MoTIGUE.
