Following a settlement of the strike, all the short distance trains will resume running to-day, and the long-distance ones tp-morow. BRISBANE, September 11. The strike is ended. Representatives of the unions attended the Court this morning and accepted the Court’s terms, and gave an undertaking to declare the South Johnstone strike off. ' In the afternoon, at a conference between the union’s committee and th© Premier, the following terms were reached; — The reinstatement, of all railwaymen. No victimisation,; the men to sign a declaration agreeing to obey tne instructions of the commissioner. Tile ptrike to be declared off from midnight to-night. It is expected that the trains win’ he running almost normally on Monday.
