RAGLAN BY-ELECTION

FOUR CANDIDATES. REFORM SELECTION. Per Press Associatloft. AUCKLAND, Sunday. At a conference of delegates of the Reform Party at Tuak yesterday, Mr Arthur Henry Waring, of Taupiri, was selected as the Reform candidate for the Raglan by-election. There were seven candidates, and a ballot was held. Mr Waring, an old friend of the Hon. R. F. Bollard, is 67 years of age. He was a successful farmer at Taupiri and later established himsel'/ in butchering. He was chairman of the Hon. Bollard’s committee. Four candidates are now definitely announced as follows: Government A. H. Waring. • Labour W. L. Martin. Liberal T. Parker: j Independent Labour .. E. Plggott.
