Mrs 11. C. North left this morning on a short visit to Wellington. Mrs. C. Stewart of Cardiff, left for the South island this morning. Mr, ami Mrs. J. Simmondg to leave about Christmas on an ex tended visit to England. Constable Gill left for Whan gam omona this morning. He is relieving iConstable Whiting who is on holiday. Commandant H. C. Cook, of the Salvation Army, left on Saturday for Levin, on relieving duties. Mr. C. M. Hartwell, of the local railway staff, left by this morning’s mail train en route to his new stai> *ou at Tliuranga.
