In view of the delay in the completion of the hydro-electric works at Arapuni, . the Minister of Public Works (Hon- K. S. Williams) met representatives of power boards, here yesterday to ascertain the possible* power requirements for the next twelve months. ■■>' The Minister said if the demaeild was auch as to warrant the installation of a'special plant the Government would do this but would expect' the boards tc- share the_ expenses, fne Government had funded -its 'contracts and' the circumstances which had arisen' were unforeseen. ■ s : .'
