MIRAMAR TOURNAMENT.
WELLINGTON, January 3
The finals of the Miramar golf tournament were played to-day,' when the weather changed from a threatening morning to a bright day, with a fresh northerly wind. In the semi-final games, Black (Hutt) unexpectedly succumbed, to Petty (Miramar), and Rana Wagg (Hutt) secured a narrow win from Hussey (Wanganui). In the final event Rana Wagg secured a comfortable win from Pettey, 6—4.
