KING FERDINAND
TRIBUTE TO QUEEN'S WORK IN AMERICA. BUCHAREST, December 22. King Ferdinand, who has now left his sick bed, pathetically replying to loyal messages from deputations from the Senate and the Chamber, said he was praying for strength to continue the task of securing the country's constitutional foundation, "so that when I am gone people of patriotic spirit will load Roumania in the path of peace and progress. Your homage to the Queen for Die services she rendered to her country while in America is well merited."
