Mr W. B. Grant, President of the Taranaki A. and P. Association, was in Stratford to-day. Mr and Mrs Hussiff, of Rotorua, who have been staying' with Mr and Mrs W .A. Hewitt, left by the mail train to-day. The Mayor of Westport, Mr John Menzies, has tendered his resignation. owin£ to the pressure of private business. Mr C. N. Greenland, DeputyMayor, was appointed in his stead, with Mr E. R. Fox as Deputy-Mayor.
