MOTOR FATALITY.

BOWLERS IN COLLISION. j ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED. : Prr Pros= Association. AUCKLAND, Lust Night. A serious motor accident occurred at tlib corner of Anzac Avenue and Beach Road at six o'clock to-night, resulting in the death of one of.the occupants of a motor car which came into violent collision with a tranlear. The motor car was being driven down Anzac Avenue* and crossed two sets of tram rails on Beach Road. After crossing the rails the motor apparently swerved back on to the rails, the (collision then witti great violence. The force of the impact wrecked the mown* car, while the front platform of the tram was somewhat damaged. It was at once seen that-three of the occupants of the motor car, were injured, two very seriously. They were hurried to hospital,, where Frank Wilson, of Hamilton, died shortly after admission from grave head injuries. A Z. Dickson, of Wainui House, Symonds Street, sustained very serious head injuries and is still unconscious, and Leonard Jackson, of Hamilton, also received head injuries but his condition is not considered serious. The occupants of the car were returning from a howTng match. It is not known who was driving the motor at the time .of the accident. The victims of the Anzac Avenue accident were returning from a bowling tournament match between the retail and wholesale drapery firms of the province held on the Auckland's Club's green. Dickinson is still unconscious this morning. Jackson is progressing well. Wilson who was killed, was a wellknown resident of Hamilton, aged fifty-four, a son of the late Adam Wilson of the firm of Wilson, Williams and McCullough, drapers, of Auckland in the early days. He was a prominent athlete and attained some success as a runner. . Later he was connected with the firm of Adair and Co., Napier, till he entered into business as a mercer at Hamilton, twenty years ago. He had 'frequency represented the Hamilton Bowling Club at provincial and Dominion tournaments. He leaves a widow and three children, the eldest 19, and the youngest 15.
