RAND MINERS' DISPUTE. AFRICAN MINING INDUSTRY. (Reuter). (Received 8.40 a.m.) Capetown, June 15. The ballot taken among the Rand miners, in connection with the recommendation of the De Villers Commission's report in favour of an advance in the miners' wages, shows that seventy-five per cent, of the memn her s of the Union are prepared tq strike if it is found necessary to enforce the recommendation. Nothing, however, will be done until the completion of negotiations with the Enginedrivers' Union for the proposed formation of a Federation of White Employees in the mining industry.
