CONTESTS IN AUSTRALIA. A MEETING OF,CHAMPIONS. SYDNEY. Oct. 26. The cycling sports in which Spencer and Eaton, the American champions, and Dempsey and Coppins, the Olympic representatives, competed, drew a lav >e attendance. The five miles* scratch race resulted: Eaton 1. Ken Ross 2, F. Wells 3. Time 11 ”iin 21 sec. In the half-mile race Dempsey beat Coppins in two out of three ' heats, winning the final by a wheel.
