FIRE
DAMAGE AT SPRINGLANDS. Per Press Association. Blenheim, September 15.< A six-roomed dwelling owned ana occupied by W. Broadbent at Springlands was completely destroyed by fire last night, practically nothing besaved. The insurance on the building was £9OO in the Phoenix, and on the furniture; £350 in the New; Zealand. .. An adjacent house caught fire, but the brigade effected a good save. Tho damage to the second house was estin mated at £SO, but it was insured for £SOO in the State Office.
