ALLEGED NEGLIGENCE
HOSPITAL PATIENT’S CLAIM. Per Press Association. Hamilton, September 10. At the Supreme Court, Hannah McKenzie, a married woman, claimed £IOOO damages from tire Waikato Hospital Board for alleged negligence. , Plaintiff alleged that she was burned by a hot water bottle while a patient in the hospital. After much evidence had been taken the parties conferred and arrived at a settlement, and the plaintiff withdrew the allegations of negligence against the board or its servants.
