AMENDMENT TO BY-LAWS. ’’NJOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Stratford Borough Council held on the l4th day of April, 1924, it was resolved that the Council do, by Special Order under “The Municipal Corporations. Act, 1920,’’ make a By-la\v amending Sub-clause (50) of By-law 78 (Part IV.) of “The Stratford Borough Bylaws, 1920” by deleting the words “right-hand” where they occur in the second line of the said Sub-clause, and inserting the’ words “left-hand” in lieu thereof. ■ The object and purport of such amending By-law is to provide by the said Sub-clause, as amended, that any person shall he guilty of an offence who, when walking along any footway, does not keep as nearly as practicable to the left-hand side thereof. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a further special meeting of the Council to he held at the Borough Council Chambers, Broadway, Stratford, on Monday, the 12th day of May, 1924. at 7.30 p.m. A copy of the said resolution making the said Special Order, and of the proposed By-law, is deposited at the Office of the Council in Broadway, Stratford, whore the same will for public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting is hold.
