In reply to a number of questions asked hy the flub regarding the administration of the competition, the chairman, anon need that the Stratford Club would assume charge of all details, the Union to receive one-third of the gate receipts, and the remainder to be held in trust f'i*, the Stratford Club by the Union as the nucleus of a fund for the erection of dressing sheds and a gymnasium on Victoria Park. The money will be held until definite arrangements are made for the erection of these buildings.

The matter of defining the boundary between the Stratford and Inglewood Clubs was left to the chairman and secretary.

A provisional grant of £2O was voted to the Primary Schools' Union.

The executive of the northern group of the Primary Schools' Union forwarded -the following resolution for consideration :—"That the executive considers it is not in the best interests of school football to piny representative and inter-provincial matches".—The letter was received, hut the executive were advised the matter did not come under the jurisdiction of the Taranaki Union. The management committee also asked that in future communications from the executive be forwarded through tho proper channels, viz., the Primary Schools' Union.

Mr J. McLood was appointed the Union's representative on the selection committee, to act with Messrs O'Sullivan and Cain in selecting the Tnrnmiki representatives and nominating players for inclusion in the North Island team.

It was agreed that travelling expenses for players selected for representative and trial matches be on the hasis of the standard railway or service car charges and the standard accommodation for one night.

Mr Neilson (the retiring president) announced that the Scottish Union had no quarrel with New Zealand, but ignored the NewZealand visit, owing to the manner in which the Rugby Union arranged the tour. After the New Zealand tour of 1905 it was agreed that any tour to or from oversea* should be under the direct auspices of the International Board, but in July Scotland was merely informed that thirtyfour matches were being arranged, of which two had been allocated to Scotland.
